I aim to provide a teaching environment that is safe, welcoming, and inclusive.
All students, especially children and vulnerable adults, will be treated with respect, kindness, and care.
I follow the IRMTNZ Student Safety Policy & Guidelines, including how to recognise, respond to, and report any concerns about student wellbeing.
I keep communication respectful and professional — both in person and online.
Physical contact is avoided unless absolutely necessary for instruction, and always explained first.
All students are encouraged to speak up if they feel uncomfortable at any time.
My studio is smoke-free, drug-free, and kept clean and free of hazards.
I have emergency contacts on file for each student.
I keep a first aid kit on hand and have smoke alarms installed.
Any photos, recordings, or student information will only be shared with clear permission from the student (age 13+) and their guardian if under 18.
Personal information is kept confidential and only used for teaching purposes.
I hold a current Criminal Conviction History (CCH) check, updated every 3 years as required by IRMTNZ.
I engage in ongoing professional development to ensure the highest standard of teaching and safety practices.
